There has been much confusion concerning the tongues issue. We are admonished to compare scripture with scripture to see the truth on any issue. (1 Cor. 2:13)
My friend, there are TWO DIFFERENT TONGUES mentioned in the Bible. The confusion comes when people try to make them one and the same.
Please get a Bible and look up these verses for yourself. The Bible says that we are to "prove all things." (1 Thes. 5:21)

No where in Acts do you find the term "Baptism of the Holy Ghost" in connection with speaking in tongues.
The baptism of the Holy Ghost is related to salvation and not tongues (1 Corinthians 12:13).
There is NO command in the Bible to speak with unknown tongues.
A person who does not have the Holy Spirit is not saved (Romans 8:9 and 1 John 4:13).
A wicked generation seeks a sign (Matthew 12:39).
The tongues movement of today is NOT Acts 2 tongues but the CARNAL tongues of 1 Corinthians.
