As anyone that reads the Bible knows the tribulation will be a terrible time on the earth. Many HORRIBLE THINGS will happen including earthquakes, volcanoes, great plagues, demonic powers, the Antichrist rules and people dying by the millions. Jesus Himself WARNED that it would the greatest judgment that the world has ever had. (Matt. 24:21).
Please note the following that will take place in the tribulation -
- Peace taken, global war, (Rev. 6:4).
- Famine, a day's food for a day's wages (Rev. 6:5, 6).
- 1/4 world's population will die, war, hunger (Rev. 6:8).
- Earthquakes, sun darkened, stars fall (Rev. 6:12, 13).
- PANIC AND TERROR will be universal (Rev. 6:15-17).
- 1/3 in sea destroyed; (Rev. 8:8, 9).
- Many will die from bitter poisoned waters (Rev. 8:10, 11).
- Sun smitten, affecting light and temperatures (Rev. 8:12).
- Another 1/3 of the world's population die (Rev. 9:13-18).
- More great earthquakes and great hail (Rev. 11:13, 19).
- Malignant sores plague all the unsaved (Rev. 16:2).
- All in the seas will die (Rev. 16:3).
- Men scorched with fire and great heat (Rev. 16:8, 9).
- Men gnaw tongues due to pain and sores (Rev. 16:10, 11).
- Greatest earthquake since men on the earth (Rev. 16:18).
- Cities throughout the world will crumble (Rev. 16:19). Every island and mountain will disappear (Rev. 16:20).
- Huge hailstones fall, about 100 pounds each (Rev. 16:21).
NO FEAR!
Some time ago there was a fad in the United States where many people put a sign on their car, shirt or hat that said, "NO FEAR." Of course this is just plain rebellion. In the book of Proverbs it states, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
(Prov 1:7)
So I guess that mankind will reap what he sows and God will TEST them whether or not they will fear anything.
One of the things that will happen
in the tribulation is that the
animals will have
NO FEAR OF MANKIND.
IN THE BEGINNING IT WAS DIFFERENT
Now when reading the book of Genesis there is evidence that people got along with the animals.
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would CALL THEM: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam GAVE NAMES to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field... (Gen. 2:19-20)
RIDING A LION
Can you imagine being able to get along with the animals to such a degree that they would come to you and be very tame? Probably everyone has dreamt of having some large wild animal as a pet. Maybe even riding some large bear or walking with a lion.
I believe that mankind was able to communicate with the animals all the way up until the time of Noah and the flood. But after the flood many things changed on this earth including man's relationship with the animals.
FEAR OF MAN
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the FEAR OF YOU AND THE DREAD OF YOU shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. (Gen. 9:1.2)
From this time forward we find that the animals FEARED mankind and mankind also feared some of the animals. And so this is still the case up until this day. Man thus far "rules" over the animal kingdom and of course most animals are in fear of him.
IN THE KINGDOM
Also in the kingdom when Jesus Christ rules and reigns on this earth it will be very peaceful. The Bible states that ALL WILL KNOW THE LORD. This of course will have an effect on all the animals during this time.
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
(Heb 8:11)
The WOLF ALSO SHALL DWELL WITH THE LAMB, and the LEOPARD SHALL LIE DOWN WITH THE KID; and the CALF AND THE YOUNG LION and the fatling together; and A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM. And the COW AND THE BEAR shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the LION SHALL EAT STRAW LIKE THE OX.
(Isa 11:6-8)
BUT
IN THE TRIBULATION
Since we are getting close to the last days of the church, it should be no surprise that we see EVIDENCES of animals TURNING ON MANKIND more frequently than ever before.
Years ago there was a movie put out by Alfred Hitchcock called, "THE BIRDS." In this movie the people were ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED when the birds started attacking them.
There was also a movie where bats started attacking the people with the same response. Have you noticed how many movies that have been produced that deals with some animal that attacks people?
Could you imagine walking down the sidewalk and suddenly dogs, cats, crows, birds, snakes, bees, wasps, and every other type of animal started attacking you? I guarantee you would not just stand there.
It will be a terrible time in the tribulation period where a person goes home to his beloved pets (such as a great Dane, or Doberman) and they in turn start looking at him as "FOOD."
ARTICLES IN THE NEWS
The following are some interesting news articles dealing with various animals that were not in fear of man and some just downright dangerous.
THE BIGGEST OUTBREAK OF LOCUSTS
"Locusts apparently thrive during droughts - Beijing - Huge swarms of locusts have been destroying crops in northern China - a region which is already suffering from its worst drought in more than a decade. Two areas have been struck by the locust plague at once... In the worst affected areas of Xinjiang, local farmers are reporting infestation levels of 4,000 locusts per square meter. According to one local paper, this is the biggest outbreak of locusts in a quarter of a century. Two years of extremely dry weather, which is already wreaking havoc on northern China's farm land, is also being blamed for this latest problem..."

STAGE SETTING
FOR TRIBULATION LOCUSTS
An estimated at 100 billion-strong, is on the move through the Australian outback, threatening everything in its path from valuable vineyards to laundry hanging out to dry... 'If it gets to the extreme, they tend to attack anything that's green, including green clothes that are hanging on the clothesline,' The Australian plague locust commission said there were massive swarms on both sides of the continent.

HOW TO STOP GIANT GRASSHOPPERS?
Monstrous grasshoppers -- too nasty-tempered and toxic to be eaten by natural predators and too big to be bothered by conventional pesticides - are on the rampage in Central Florida. A woman first saw the 4-inch creatures chowing down on a flower-garden smorgasbord outside a museum. "We didn't know what to think, I'd never seen anything like them. They were devouring all our broadleaf plants." Startled homeowners were unaccustomed to seeing grasshoppers that look as if they'd have a starring role in a horror flick. After all, they have five eyes, viselike jaws and ever-moving mouth parts. The king-sized grasshoppers just sneered at bug spray. Alarmed, they called experts for help. "About all you can do is hit 'em with a 2-by-4," one man said. It's a nasty pest. Too fat to fly, it can jump high and long. When disturbed, they spread their wings and hiss. Try to touch one, and it's likely to eject a foul-smelling, irritating foam intended to keep you away. It's highly effective. So they went out and rounded up some enthusiastic high-school volunteers willing to stomp on the critters. Between the teens and a direct application of an unusually potent insecticide, museum workers beat back the infestation.

KILLER BEES
"Killer bees attacked a one-armed man in southeast Mexico Wednesday, killing him and stinging three of his children, officials said. "'The father of the children could not defend himself because he was missing an arm. His children saved themselves by jumping into a river." The attack was the second in two days in Mexico. We are told that killer bees interrupted the burial of a man in a western Mexican state the day before, stinging some 60 people.
Reuters news service
"Killer wasps went on the attack in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, killing five people who died of multiple stings. 30 people had also been hospitalized in the southwest and west of Georgia after being attacked by the aggressive insects."
United Press International
These unusual attacks are alarming. Anyone who has ever been stung by a bee can understand the terror caused by a swarm of bees or wasps relentlessly attacking.
As frightening as the attacks are, they may be seen as a fore-warning of worse things to come. At a point during the seven years of tribulation that will bring to a climax the end of this age, the Bible details even more catastrophic events. We read, for example, in the book of Revelation that the stings of future creatures will be so extreme that people will want to die.
"And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power ... and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them."

PET RABBIT FACES EXECUTION

Police were called in when the energized bunny attacked a woman. "Society is safe again" an Ashland police officer said.

CRAZED CAT
Keeps owner & Mounties on defensive
A homeowner had to be rescued by police after his cat went berserk and trapped him in a bathroom. It took two Mounties and an animal control officer to subdue the seven-year-old frenzied calico named Cathy. "I've been in this business going on 24 years and I've never seen a cat focus on a person like that one did," an animal control officer said. "The RCMP couldn't do anything with it," he said, adding that although it seemed comical that two burly Mounties couldn't catch one small cat, he quickly understood why. The trapped man suffered scratches but does not think the cat bit him. An RCMP Constable didn't want to talk about the Friday night cat call to which he and his partner responded. "For fear of bringing embarrassment upon the force," he said with a laugh on Saturday. The animal control officer, the Mounties and the owner aren't sure what sparked the incident. "All the homeowner did was pick up the broom to sweep the floor, it's the strangest incident I've ever been called to."

NO FEAR BY WOLVES

Due to the Wildlife Service's habit of hand-feeding wolves elk meat, "when they see humans, they think it's chow time."

COUGAR CRASHES THROUGH WINDOW
At a Lake Tahoe home: "A woman thought an earthquake struck when the guest bedroom window shattered at her friends' home near Lake Tahoe. MAN KILLS COUGAR WITH POCKET KNIFE
A retired mill worker is recovering in hospital today after he killed a cougar by using his pocket knife to stab the animal and then cut its throat, ending a life-and-death struggle that interrupted his evening walk near a Vancouver Island village. Wildlife officials and residents of Port Alice are stunned by David Parker's victory over the 80-pound cat, left dead beside a logging road after its fight with the 62-year-old man. Mr. Parker, described as fit and strong, is very lucky to be alive. But Mr. Parker, who lives in Port Alice with his wife, a retired nurse, did not emerge unscathed. He was listed in stable condition in a Victoria hospital last night after hours of surgery that reportedly focused on his face.

LETTER CARRIER
LOSES PART OF NOSE IN DOG ATTACK
The pit bull and a German shepherd-mix ran out of an open doorway and attacked Sanders as she walked down a sidewalk. Sanders backed slowly away, putting her mail bag between her and the animals, and as a last resort tried to spray them with Mace, None of that worked. The mauling was among the worst of 58 dog bite attacks on postal carriers reported this year in Los Angeles, Dozier said. The figure was up from 50 last year. Nationwide, 3,000 letter carriers have been bitten this year, up 15 percent over last year. It was the second pit bull mauling in Southern California in two days.

SHARKS SWARM OFF FLORIDA COAST
Hundreds of sharks were sighted this week off central Florida's west coast, prompting officials to warn swimmers and scientists to ponder what is luring them here. Bull sharks, hammerheads and nurse sharks were spotted by sheriff's marine patrols in Gulf of Mexico waters off Pasco County, northwest of Tampa, officials said Tuesday. According to The International Shark Attack File at the Florida Museum of Natural History, there were 79 confirmed cases of unprovoked shark attack on humans worldwide last year, compared to 58 in 1999. More than two-thirds of the attacks occurred in North American waters.

ELEPHANTS 'FREE CAPTIVE ANTELOPE'
South African conservationists are baffled by the behavior of a herd of elephants which appeared to raid an enclosure on a private game reserve "deliberately" to release a group of antelope captured by rangers as part of a relocation and breeding program. "The herd circled the fence and then the matriarch moved to the gate and very carefully and deliberately undid all the gate's metal latches with her trunk and pushed it open." The antelope took their chance and dashed back into the bush followed by the elephants, who did not give the food a second glance.

WOMEN GIVE BIRTH IN TREES
Fearing attacks by wild elephants, pregnant women of the east Indian state of Jharkhand are climbing trees to give birth to their babies. In the past two months, in the district of Dumka, at least a dozen pregnant women have delivered their babies on platforms built on treetops. Days before Sonia was to deliver her baby, her husband sensing trouble, built a platform on a tree about 7m above the ground. One night wild elephants attacked their village. He managed to take Sonia to the treetop platform moments before the rampaging elephants knocked down the mud wall of their house and raided their paddy stock. "Tribals who love rice beer brew the liquor at home. Elephants too are fond of this beer. "Often it is found that, attracted by the strong smell of the liquor, wild elephants tear down the tribal houses where the brew is stored." (Comment: Now we know why it is called the district of "Dumka").

(Jer. 15:3)
Friend,
If you are saved you can really thank God that you will not be on the earth during the tribulation period.
But please, if you are not sure of heaven please note the following -
If you were to die today are you 100% sure you would go to
HEAVEN? Yes___ or No___?
Please read the following if you answered No
to the question above.
Could you honestly say the following??
Jesus Christ, "I AM JUST AS GOOD AS YOU. I have never LUSTED in my heart; I have never lied; Never cheated; Never stolen anything; Never HATED anyone; Never thought a DIRTY THOUGHT. Never said ANYTHING WRONG; Never LOST MY TEMPER. I am just as good as you are Jesus. I have never sinned.
Now, if you are truly honest with yourself, you know that somewhere, somehow you have sinned. You know that you could not compare yourself to the Holy Son of God, Jesus Christ.
BECAUSE OF THE ABOVE, THE BIBLE SAYS THAT
YOU ARE SEPARATED FROM GOD.
"For ALL HAVE SINNED, and come short of the glory of God;" ".your iniquities have SEPARATED between you and your God..."
YOU HAVE BROKEN THE LAWS OF GOD
"Whosoever committeth sin TRANSGRESSETH ALSO THE LAW: for sin is the transgression of the law." "For the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH..."
YOU ARE CONDEMNED BY GOD AT THIS MOMENT.
"... he that believeth not is CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." "it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" "The wicked shall be turned into hell..."
BUT JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU AND DIED FOR YOU.
"But God commendeth HIS LOVE TOWARD US, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.
"Jesus saith., I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." For there is one God, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT OF GOD: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE TRUTH THE DECISION IS YOURS!
WILL YOU REPENT?
"The Lord is... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." "REPENT YE THEREFORE, AND BE CONVERTED, that your sins may be blotted out," Repentance is when a person admits his guilt to God, and sincerely desires in his heart to get right with God.
"...repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
WILL YOU TRUST JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR
LORD AND SAVIOUR?
"For whosoever shall CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD shall be saved." Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again from the dead. He paid for your sins on the cross. That is why He is called the Saviour. You cannot save yourself by good works; baptism, church attendance, sacraments, going to confession; giving money, praying to Mary and the saints, or trying to live a good life. In order to be saved, you must completely put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
CAN YOU AFFORD TO WAIT?
The most important decision that you will make in this life will be that of either trusting or rejecting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Don't take a chance! Call on God now! You might not be alive tomorrow!
DEAR FRIEND,
IN YOUR OWN WORDS PRAY and tell God that you are guilty as a sinner, and that you now believe that Jesus Christ is the Saviour, and that you now want to completely trust Him, and ONLY HIM as your Lord and Saviour.
