Chapter One: Woman, Wife, Mother, Helpmeet Who am I?

This book is titled “The Woman God Wants Me to Be” because God wants Christian women to be distinct and separate from the women of the world. A Christian woman should have a greater desire to please her God by being different. God created women to be three things: women, wives and mothers.
God made women to be women, not men “wannabes.” Women should be feminine in manner, dress, speech and actions. God made women to be wives. Wives are responsible to take care of the needs of their husbands. God made women to be mothers. Mothers are needed to raise and nurture their children.
This book deals with all three aspects in some form or another. If you are single, your goal is probably marriage. This book will give you some practical Scriptural guidelines for finding a Godly man and for being a Godly wife and mother. If you are engaged or already married then hopefully this book will help you to understand the kind of woman that God would have you to be within the family unit. We are going to look to the Bible as our final authority, so go and get yours and let’s get started.
The Bible says in Proverbs 18:22 “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”
If the Lord feels that it is a good thing for a man to have a wife, then we should want to be the best wife that a man could possibly have. Amen??
