Junior Church Kids

Picture

Here are some of the kids that have been attending the Junior Church in the village. It was February when this picture was taken. Because there is no heat in their room it is very cold and everyone must wear their coats and hats. But they still have a good time.

I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

Picture

Susan is playing the keyboard and Sasha is directing some of our Junior Church children as they sing a special. On this day the kids sang, "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus," for the church during the service. Please pray that many of these kids will make that decision and accept Christ as their Saviour.

It's Cold Out There

Roman (4 years old) aka the "Hat Man" with his sister Tanya, who is six, and Mrs. Todd. Roman had four hats piled on his head, none of which were his own.

Nastia

Picture

Nastia comes to our church from the village orphanage. She had to ask the director of the orphanage for permission to come. She is twelve years old and lives with her grandparents. She is considered an orphan because her mother is in prison. She is a very quiet little girl but loves the Lord and enjoys coming to Junior Church. She usually waits for us outside to arrive and stays after church to help us pack up all our equipment. She is a real blessing.

SUSAN'S GIRLS

Luda, Lena, Alexandra (called Sasha) and Alona with their "spiritual mom". Lena and Sasha were both saved in the summer of 2001. Sasha and Alona are sisters. Luda is waiting for an operation on her appendix. Lena loves the book of 1 Chronicles. Yes, that's right, Chronicles. All the girls are a real blessing.
