Valentina is the head doctor at the Children's Hospital. She has a real love for these children, many of whom are orphans. Here we are in the lobby of the hospital just after we arrived with the medical supplies.

A Helping Hand

Can I Give You a Lift?

Picture

A typical Ukrainian ambulance right off the assembly line in the 1940's. Many of these ambulances are converted military vehicles. It is amazing that the patients who are transported in these vehicles make it to the hospital alive. They are ill equipped to handle medical emergencies. This one is being used to help carry the medical supplies we donated to the hospital.

A Gift of Love

The Village Clinic

Picture

Here are two of the doctors from the clinic in the village. They were overjoyed to receive the medical supplies that we donated to them. Their clinic had only one syringe that was used over and over again and we were able to give them several boxes of disposable needles. Also as it was flu season we supplied them with cold and flu medicine to keep them up and running through the winter.
