Dear Friends and Supporters:

Eleven Baptized

In mid-August we held our church picnic and baptism at a lakeside out in the country.  We traveled by bus, van and car for almost an hour to reach the location but it was well worth it.  Over 55 people turned out and I had the privilege of baptizing 11 men and women.  Praise the Lord!

Revelation

On Sunday mornings I kicked off our newest service with an overview of the book of Revelation, which I will be teaching evangelistically for several weeks.  So far four people have received Jesus Christ as their Saviour and two more received assurance.

One (tract) Plus One (tender heart)
Equals Five (souls)

A ten year-old girl who received a tract from us came out to our church in town at the close of service three weeks ago.  We talked to her and made her feel at home and the next week she came, at the beginning of the service, and brought three friends.  When Susan asked her if she enjoyed the Junior Church service, she replied, “I have more friends!!”  We took that as a YES!!  She was true to her word and the next Sunday she brought yet another friend.  Please pray for us as we try to reach more children and young adults for the Lord.

Major or Minor – There is a Difference

After many months of hard work we completed our newest hymnal.  We do not use the standard Russian hymnal.  There are many doctrinal errors in it and the vast majority of the music is in a slow depressing minor key.  Many songs had to be rejected in whole or in part for teaching such heresies as works for salvation and loss of eternal security.  So now we have some wonderful hymns that are doctrinally sound for our people to sing.  Amen!

Only God Can Make a Tree

Over 25 came to the August ladies meeting despite it being held on a holiday.  Susan spoke on “Our Family Tree” and the women saw God’s design for the family unit.  In September only 13 attended but one young woman got saved.  Praise the Lord!

We have been working on a webpage in between other projects and are pleased to announce that it is now on the internet.  We hope that it will be a real blessing to those who visit our site.

Bear Ye One Another’s Burdens

We have truly been blessed by the out-pouring of love from the Ukrainian people to us during the tragedy that occurred in New York and Washington a few weeks ago.  Everywhere we went, people from all walks of life, expressed their sympathy and concern to us for the American people.  We do appreciate the warmth that so many of them showed to us personally.  We have had many opportunities to present the gospel as a result.

“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
(Gal 6:2)

Thanks so much for praying,
Dr. Michael and Susan Todd
