December 2001 - January 2002

Dear Praying Friends:

CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION

On December 26th we presented our Christmas play for the community out in the village where our church is. The weather was cold and it had snowed that morning but, praise the Lord, over 150 people came out that night to see the birth of Christ presented in dramatic form. After the brief performance I spoke about the "Greatest Gift Ever Given" and gave an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Saviour. Two young ladies responded.

FIREWORKS

Over 2,000 people braved the cold and came out on a wintry night in January to watch the fireworks display that we put on this year. This is quickly becoming an annual event as the people look forward to it for months. This year we had an even more spectacular display. In between Maria the assistant director of the cultural house gave a brief testimony on our behalf and we had the opportunity to hand out gospel literature and a church invitation to all who attended.

BIBLE CLUB

The Saturday Bible Club in town is doing very well. Susan finished up her three-month study on Noah, the ark and the flood in December. At the end of the last meeting she showed a special video and treated the kids to McDonald's. A fifteen-year old boy asked the question, "If God is going to destroy the earth by fire, how can I be saved?" She asked him to stay after and talk and both he and his friend accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour.

BACK ON OUR FEET

Everyone has been sick off and on these last two months. I had bronchitis in December and Susan was in bed the entire month of January with pneumonia. Thank God we are both doing better now but it was a tough two months for us. Thanks to those who remember us in prayer. We do appreciate it. Please continue to keep us before the Lord.

THANK YOU

Thank you for your support of our ministry this past year. We appreciate each and every one who took the time to pray for us or send a special letter or gift to let us know that you were thinking of us.

Sincerely in Christ
Dr. Michael & Susan Todd
