Dear Praying Friends: May-June, 2002 Back "Home" in Ukraine Sasha reports that new visitors are still coming to the church and that many of our regular members are remaining faithful in our absence. During the month of June a total of eight people were saved. Three ladies and four children, ages 8-12, trusted Christ as their Saviour and a young girl received assurance of her salvation. Also a 14-year old boy named Sasha, from Saturday Kid's Club, received Christ and ran down the street telling people what he did. On the Road in the States We have presented our work in many new churches these two months and have also visited some of our supporting churches and were able to talk to some pastors on the phone. In May Susan spoke at a Mother's Day Banquet to well over 100 women and one lady got saved. I was able to present a lecture from my creation/evolution series to about 250 people. I also preached in almost all the churches we visited and saw the Lord working in people's lives. We thank the Lord for the opportunities that He gave us during this short trip back to the states. May I Have a Tract? While at a gas station I handed the attendant a tract and a young man named Eric followed me to the car and asked if he could have one too. Many tracts have been given out in many states. Please pray that God would speak to these hearts. From Atheist to Thinker When I first met Oleg he told me he was an atheist. After reading some information I gave him on creation/evolution over the last year he has finally decided that there must be a God. One day while he was working on Susan's computer, she saw him sitting at her desk reading her Bible. Please pray for his salvation.
