DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

We BELIEVE in the preservation, verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures; that the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, God's plan and purpose in the ages, and that the Authorized King James Bible (AV 1611 version) is the only accurate English translation. (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 15:3).

We BELIEVE in the Triune God: God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 1:2; John 6:27; John 1:1,18; Titus 2:13; Acts 5:3-4).

We BELIEVE in the Deity, virgin birth and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (John 20:27-29; John 14:9; Matthew 1:20-25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 1 Corinthians 15:12-17).

We BELIEVE in salvation by Grace plus and/or minus nothing else. The conditions to salvation are repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Luke 13:3; 2 Peter 3:9).

We BELIEVE that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1; 1 Timothy 2:3-4).

We BELIEVE in the eternal security of the believer. (Ephesians 1:13-14; Ephesians 4:30; John 6:37; John 10:27; John 5:24; 2 Corinthians 5:1-5).

We BELIEVE in the visible, personal, pre-tribulation Rapture, and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:4-7; 2 Timothy 4:8; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2, Daniel 9:24-27; Revelation 21:1-7).

We BELIEVE in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (2 Corinthians 5:8; John 14:2-3; Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 21:8).

We BELIEVE in the local Bible Believing Baptist Church as God's method for this age. (Acts 2:47; Acts 5:11-14; Acts 11:26; Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 5:25; Hebrews 10:25).

We BELIEVE in upholding a strong stand AGAINST ecumenicalism, modernism, liberalism, neo-orthodoxy, neo-evangelicalism, easy-believism, and the charismatic movement. (2 John 9-11; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; Romans 3:8; Romans 16:17; 1 Timothy 6:3-5; 2 Peter 2:1).

We BELIEVE in the testimony of the believer in taking a stand APART from the world. This would include such things as smoking, dancing, gambling, drinking alcohol, immodest dress for women, etc. (Romans 12:1-2; John 17:16; Galatians 2:20; Galatians 6:14; 1 Corinthians 11:14-15; 1 Timothy 2:9-11; Ephesians 5:18; Proverbs 23:21; Proverbs 20:1).

We BELIEVE in the great commission to preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20; Proverbs 11:30).
